Annual Exams for Better Health and Prevention

Those of us in good health want to stay that way. Those of us in bad health want to be like those in good health. At Medinet Family Care Clinic, we can help both groups of people. With an annual examination, our physicians are able to check for any unhealthy signs within the human body.

ANNUAL EXAMS FOR HEALTHY PEOPLE

Prevention is the number one method to maintaining health. Having an experienced and highly trained physician conduct an annual health exam will enable you to stay on top of your health.

Once you reach 40 years old, it is best to schedule an annual health examination. These examinations check the heart rate, pulse rate, weight, lung health and functionality, and bloodwork. These medical check ups are incredibly important to help patients who may be at the beginning stages of high cholesterol, or worse, diabetes, heart disease, or other life-threatening illnesses.

Healthy patients, however, are typically healthy because they are already taking the proper steps to retain their health. Our physicians conduct a thorough questionnaire with the patient to see what their daily routine looks like. Are they exercising, eating right, smoking, or consuming alcohol? These are necessary questions to better predict how parts of the body will react.

ANNUAL EXAMS FOR UNHEALTHY PEOPLE

Conversely, unhealthy patients are commonly doing things that counteract good health. The reasons typically are related to not exercising, bad diet, smoking and drinking. Our physicians are able to offer sound advice on how a patient can transform their life through making good, health-focused decisions.

Also, unhealthy people are more apt to have certain illnesses, like heart disease or diabetes. Catching these issues in their early stages can help a patient turn the tide and return to a healthy life.
